The heading Marry or not 2 Marry itself brings smirk on our face (talking about bachelors only) and an anguish expression on most of the people who are married, thinking I wish I would have given a thought before getting married.
I must say I have seen few good men who say they are happily married. The reason of saying that is, may be they are satisfied and they understood the value of togetherness. If this is not the case, then there might be a fear that they won’t get good homely food (biwi ke haath ka khaana uski gaali khane se to acha hi hota hai) and every day coloring with partner with out even using the eraser (remember recently released movie SEX AND THE CITY). Now no matter what the case is no one will call these married men as eligible bachelors again. Only they can get a degree as compensation even without going to college that is BA. No No No no no, not Bachelor of Arts but a degree which they can get only after the divorce i.e. Bachelor Again (I wish no one should consider this degree).
Giving a thought that its time to get married, blood rushes through my veins and DARK big monster comes in front of my eyes and tell me that your wife might be most beautiful in the world and she might care for u a lot but remember u won’t be same Anoop ever again. Means no more hang out with friends every other night. I have to pick up every damn call, tell where I am?? With whom, what am i doing (as if I color the whole world and I am still not in news) and worst last liner I can ever think of, “where are your credit cards I need to go for shopping”. Why in India shopping mall guys doesn’t check whose credit card it is and is the signature matching or not? Hope they start doing that till I get married (if I am going to).
Every time some one asks me whether I am married or a bachelor, I reply back saying I am happy. May be I am unable to understand the happiness that comes on a man’s face when he see his wife or kids after a long tensed day at office. At least someone is there to give unconditional love him. And won’t set targets for him to be with his beloved family for rest of the life (even a bottle of scotch or vodka doesn’t set a target to be with…only the problem is every time u need to buy new one ;) ). The Feeling of being a super human when your partner holds your arm tightly while, watching a horror movie as if you will be the savior if ghosts appear in real. Those three beautiful words and a warm hug when u needed most… (Hope I don’t need to write what are those words).
There are few reasons not to marry but lots and lots more to marry. But one should give a big thought when and with whom to marry. Here is a ROAMER who is ready to settle down and wants to feel the essence of new phase of life….
